Thierry Jahan M.D.
Dr. Jahan is currently an Associate Professor of Medicine at the University of California, San Francisco, where he was worked since 1994, and specializes in the treatment of thoracic cancer.
Dr. Jahan graduated from George Washington University and completed his subsequent internship, residency and fellowship at Cedars Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles. A member of the American College of Physicians and the American Society of Clinical Oncology, Dr. Jahan focuses his research and study on the treatment of lung cancer and malignant mesothelioma, a cancer exclusively caused by previous asbestos exposure.
Fluent in French, Spanish, Russian and English, Dr. Jahan received the prestigious Medical Housestaff Outstanding Teacher Award from UCSF Medical Center at Mount Zion. During his 21 years of medical experience, Dr. Jahan also holds a degree in Psychology, which contributes to his keen understanding of the emotional and mental suffering of cancer patients. He has also published several articles in medical journals and newspapers.
