Mark W. Lischner M.D.
Dr. Mark Lischner is a critical care medicine specialist with a focus on pulmonary disease and sleep medicine. In addition, Dr. Lischner works with patients suffering from asthma, sarcoidosis, and asbestosis, a disease that is caused by previous exposure to asbestos. He is currently serving as a physician at Sutter Physician Alliance in Roseville, California.
A graduate of Yale University School of Medicine in 1965, where he graduated in the top 25% of his class, Dr. Lischner completed his medical fellowship at the Albert Einstein College of Medicine at the Bronx Municipal Medical Center in New York City. He also conducted research while in England at the Department of Pharmacology at Oxford University. Dr. Lischner has been a Diplomat of the American Board of Internal Medicine since 1970, and has also been a Diplomat of the American Board of Pulmonary Diseases since 1972. Dr. Lischner is certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine with a specialty in Internal Medicine.
Dr. Lischner, who has over forty years of experience in the field of pulmonary medicine, is a member of several medical organizations, including the California Thoracic Society and the American College of Chest Physicians. In addition to serving patients and conducting research, Dr. Lischner also writes, and has published many papers and scholarly articles. He has been published in The Chest Journal and Digestive Diseases and Sciences.
