Lyn D. Wilson M.D.
Dr. Lyn D. Wilson is the associate professor of therapeutic radiology at the Yale University School of Medicine in the department of therapeutic radiology. Dr. Wilson also serves as the Vice Chairman and Clinical Director in the department of therapeutic radiology. Dr. Wilson is an affiliate physician with the Lawrence & Memorial Hospital Community Cancer Center in New London, Connecticut.
Dr. Wilson received his bachelor’s degree from Denison University of Granville, Ohio, completing his undergraduate studies in 1984. From Denison, Dr. Wilson enrolled in the Yale University Medical School, earning his Masters of Public Health in 1986. He received his medical degree in 1990 from the George Washington University School of Medicine in 1990. From 1990 to 1994, Dr. Wilson completed his internship in internal medicine and residency in therapeutic radiology at the Yale University-New Haven Hospital.
Dr. Wilson’s professional interests and expertise includes conditions such as malignant and benign skin tumors, lymphoma, non-small/small cell lung cancers, and other malignancies. Dr. Wilson has done extensive research in these fields and more. Dr. Wilson is a member of the American Board of Radiology and the American Board of Radiation Oncology. Dr. Wilson’s work in radiology has some intersection with mesothelioma patients, as malignant mesothelioma has been one of his interests from his studies of lung cancer.
